Please reblog this to spread awareness about the Troy Davis case. We continue to appeal for clemency. The Board can grant this at any point up to the time of execution. They alone are in the position to grant clemency. The execution is scheduled today 7 pm EST. There are too many things wrong with this case and it’s hard to believe the state of Georgia will go ahead with the killing anyway. Jesus H. Christ.
Come on people.
There are a lot of things that should be said here. Even if he was guilty, EVEN IF SO, he has not had a fair trial, there is little concrete evidence that proves he is guilty, and strong evidence to the contrary has been brushed off by prosecutors and judges as irrelevant. Let us revisit the 1950s, where racially based prosecutions and sentencing were only marginally worse than this case demonstrates in 2011.
